Welcome to Let’s Go Outdoors! My name is Michael Short — and as a story teller, I have been following the outdoor beat in Alberta and Canada for more than a decade on radio and television.

My stories are presented on the LetsGoOutdoors.ca website for visitors on mobile devices, tablets and desktop browsers and allow for direct access to our supporting media, which can include video from the Lets Go Outdoors Alberta YouTube channel, embedded mp3 audio and photo galleries.

As someone like you who has an interest in what is happening in the outdoors, how can you keep up-to-date with our latest stories? Follow us on social media! We post regularly and promote those stories on Twitter and Facebook. We also have a huge video library of original content on YouTube - our newest video shorts, of course, but also all three seasons of our television series and many feature story vignettes.

We have also recently introduced an Apple iTunes podcast feed for dedicated podcast users - perfect for users that want to listen to interviews about wolverines to grizzly bears to back country access - all while driving on that weekend road trip down the Forestry Trunk road with no radio reception or while you vacuum the house on a Saturday!

Subscribe today on Facebook, Twitter or the LetsGoOutdoors.ca RSS (real simple syndication feed) and be in-the-know first about outdoor issues in Alberta and Canada!
