Aquatic Invasive Species Inspection stations are being set up on Manitoba highways

The new tactic is being taken to prevent the spread of Zebra Mussels, into any new waterways. Currently, Zebra Mussels have infected Lake Winnipeg, the Red River, and Cedar Lake. Under Manitoba legislation anyone towing, or transporting a watercraft must stop at an inspection station.
