As trout waters across our province begin to freeze over, efforts to secure funds for on-going TUC programs is just starting to warm up.

Phil Rowley, Trout Unlimited Canada

Phil Rowley is my guest this week as we talk about a couple of special events taking place in Calgary this November. They include a new fly fishing film about one of the last remaining wild stocks of Brook Trout in the heart of Patagonia. To an informal dinner at the 25th Annual fall Splash.

Podcast Interview with Phil Rowley

When Phil is not busy with his many duties with TUC, he manages to get out and do a little fishing. Here is an adventure we shared out on lake Wabamun, chasing trophy sized pike on the fly rod.

One more bit of news to pass along. The Edmonton chapter of TUC is holding a special event on November 5. This is their major fund raiser of the year for projects and educational objectives. It all takes place at Kenilworth Community Centre 7104 87 Avenue in Edmonton. Sounds like a great evening and you can’t go wrong  for $15 per person. For more information contact Terry Dyck at This email address is being protected from spambots.
