If you can think of an outdoor activity, chances are it’s covered out here at the Alberta Fish and Games Narrow Lake Conservation Education centre.

For over 30-years kids from across Alberta have signed up to immerse themselves in all things outdoors. Organizing and staffing a camp like this is no small task. For the most part, they are all volunteers and are asked to make a significant commitment.  Whether it's learning about developing leadership skills or working together to individual activities like learning to handle firearms safely, these young outdoor enthusiasts come away from the week with their own memories There was also one more thing that many of the camp participants commented on, that was the food.

Being exposed to new foods or if it was the first time they tried archery or target shooting has opened the door to these kids in their journey to becoming passionate about the outdoors and taking away some valuable life lessons.
