Elma got her adrenaline going with a fast-paced trip through the woods on a dog sled team from Snowy Owl Tours. What a great way to spend time in the mountains!

Searching for the elusive Cisco
We tag along with researchers from the Royal Alberta Museum who are diving into the chilly waters of Cold Lake to test live capture nets. It's all part of an effort to find the rare Cisco fish.


Reducing environmental footprints
We visit the Evergreen Centre for Resource Excellence & Innovation where advances in resource extraction are being tested. Industry is collaborating to find ways to narrow the trenching paths required for pipelines.

Handling boats at high speeds and rescuing stranded boaters and swimmers requires specialized training. We join Provincial Parks conservation officers as they have fun getting up to speed on these important skills.
